Messages and Comments for and about Jonathon

Please leave your comments here. Talk about him. Talk to him. Remember. Dream. Anything you want (within reason of course). Please feel free to talk to one another as well. This place is for my son, and while we won’t get to see him or talk to him or be with him anymore, we can always keep him alive in our hearts. Thank you.

Love,

His Mom

    Jonathon,
I watched you grow through your mother. She loved you deeply. I watched you become a big brother not once, but three times over. I watched your light be stolen by an illness that no one could stop. I think of you daily, watching my kids, watching my cheer girls, my kids’ friends and I just try to always been open to being the one positive some one needs. I do this for you, Jonathon. To make sure your life has purpose and meaning, I tell the kids around me about you. I want them to know that you leaving wasn’t the answer. I hope you have peace, I hope you watch over us all. But most of all Jonathon, I hope you know how deeply and truly you were loved.

One thing I remember Jonathon saying once is how he really wanted to be a role model to his younger brothers and some of his cousins, so that they could have a good influence to look up to and someone to teach them things. To his brothers and cousins: I know for a fact he loved you all a lot and that you have made him very proud. Some of his wishes were that you don’t end up getting involved in bad crowds, and that you grow up with the confidence to be socially outgoing.
